Play this short digital story to hear about my facilitation work...

Based in Birmingham, UK, my work as a creative facilitator in creative writing, drama and visual art, has been developed over 15 years. I love working with groups in person and online to develop participants enjoyment of the arts with an aim to developing wellbeing through creation.

Plays can help challenge the status-quo and make people confront their situations and what it means to be human...

Writing and performing my own audio pieces has given me a consistent creative outlet...

I thrive off being in a rehearsal room, trying out ideas and feeding off actors, directors, musicians and other creatives...

I love exploring why people behave the way that they do and do the silly, weird and selfish things they do...

I love flawed characters, multi-faceted and complicated...

I write about big grown up themes surrounding sex, death, relationships. ..

I inject a humorous element to my work, exploring light and dark...

I use monologues to delve in to how a character thinks and feels... what do they just HAVE to say in that moment...?

Writing

Each week a new short play or story will be told, taking inspiration from the world and characters that I stumble across… a character could be strutting down New Street in Brum, it could be a piece of graffiti scrawled across a Cardiff bus stop, or an empty can left on a hillside… the stories can strike anywhere…
